నెల్లిమేడు శివరామ గోవిందు భార్య శ్రీ స్వామి వారికి మంచి భక్తురాలు. వాళ్ళ ఆవు సుఖంగా ఈనితే, శ్రీ స్వామి వారికి ఒక గ్లాసు నిండా పాలు ఇస్తానని  మ్రొక్కుకున్నది. ఆవు ఈనిన తర్వాత తన కుమార్తె ద్వారా శ్రీ స్వామి వారికి పాలు పంపుతోంటే, ఆ ఇంటి యజమాని, "పండ్లు తోముకోని ఆ స్వామికి పాలెందుకు ఇవ్వడం?" అని అన్నాడు; కానీ ఆ పాప పాలు తీసుకు వెళ్ళింది. ఆ పాపను చూస్తోనే శ్రీ స్వామి వారు, "ఆ పాలు మీ ఇంట్లో పండ్లు తోముకునే స్వామికి ఇవ్వు, నాకు వద్దు!" అన్నారు. ఆ పాప వెళ్లి ఆ మాట వాళ్ళ నాన్నకు చెప్పగానే, అయన పశ్చాత్తాపంతో పాలు తీసుకునివెళ్లి, శ్రీ స్వామి వారికి ఇచ్చి క్షమించమని వేడుకున్నాడు. కానీ శ్రీ స్వామి వారు, "నేను పళ్ళు తోముకున్నప్పుడు పాలు త్రాగుతాను, ఇప్పుడు వద్దు తీసుకుపో!" అని కసిరారు. ఈ విశ్వంలో అనుక్షణమూ ఎక్కడ ఏమి జరిగేది తనకు తెలుస్తుందని శ్రీ స్వామి వారు తెలియ జేస్తున్నారు.

అరణి నుండి ఒక భక్తురాలు శ్రీ స్వామి వారి దర్శనార్ధం వస్తూ, ఒక డజను అరటి పండ్లు తీసుకున్నది. వెంటనే ఒక కోతి వచ్చి సగం అరటి పండ్లు పెరుక్కు పోయింది. ఆమె చాలా బాధ పడింది; కానీ ఆ తర్వాత, ఆ కోతిలో కూడా ఆత్మ వుంది కదా అనుకుని సరిపెట్టుకున్నది. శ్రీ స్వామి వారిని దర్శించి, మిగిలిన అరటి పండ్లను వారికి సమర్పించేందుకు వెనుకడుతోంది. ఆప్పుడు శ్రీ స్వామి వారు తమను చూపించుకొంటో, "ఇందులో కూడా ఆత్మ ఉంది. ఈ ఆత్మ కూడా తింటాడు. ఆ అరటి పండ్లు ఇవ్వు!" అని అడిగి మరీ స్వీకరించారు.

Wife of Sivarama Govindu (Nellimedu) was a great devotee of Swami. She vowed to Swami that she would offer a glassful of milk if her cow yeaned safely. After her cow yeaned, she was going to send a glass of milk to Swami through her daughter. Then her husband told, “Why to offer milk to that Swami? He does not even brush his teeth.” But that girl took the milk to Swami. On seeing her, Swami told “Give that milk to the Swami in your house who brushes his teeth. I don’t want!”  When that girl told those words to her father, he realized Swami’s greatness and he himself took the milk and offered it to Swami with repentance. He begged for Swami’s excuse. But Sri Swami said, “I will drink the milk when I brush my teeth, not now, you take it back.” Thus he conveyed to him that He knows everything about the happenings anywhere in the world.

Once, a devotee was coming from Aarani, brought one dozen of bananas for Swami.  Soon, a monkey came and grabbed half of them.  She initially felt very sad; later she tried to convince herself with the feeling that even the monkey has Athma. Finally, she went for Swami’s darshan and was hesitating to offer the remaining fruits to Swami. Then Sri Swami, pointing to Himself, affectionately said, “Here also Athma is present, and it will also eat bananas; give them to me.” Swami thus lovingly took the remaining bananas from her and ate them.
