భగవంతుడు మననుండి కోరే మనస్సు, కాలము వారికి అర్పించకుండా, సిగరెట్లు, టీ లు మొదలగు అవసరాలెన్నో శ్రీ స్వామి వారికి సమపర్పించే జనం ఎక్కువగా దర్శించేవారు.
ప్రతి నిత్యం ఒక పాలవాడు పాలు, టీ, కాఫీ ఏమైనా కావాలేమోనని శ్రీ స్వామి వారిని అడిగేవాడు. ఏమీ వద్దని నిత్యం శ్రీ స్వామి వారు చెప్పేవారు. ఒక రోజు ఆ పాలవాని సైకిలుకు తగిలించి ఉన్న ఇరవై ఐదు లీటర్ల పల క్యాను తెమ్మన్నారు. తేగానే, ఆ క్యానులోని పాలన్నీ శ్రీ స్వామి వారు ఒక్కసారిగా త్రాగేసారు. ఆ పాలవాని సైకిలుకున్న మరొక ఆరు లీటర్ల పాల క్యాను తెమ్మని, ఆ పాలు కూడా త్రాగేసారు! ఈ రోజు ఖాతాదారులకు పాలు ఎలా పొయ్యాలి అనే ఆలోచనతో అతడు వెళ్ళిపోయాడు....
అతడు వెళ్ళగానే శ్రీ స్వామి వారు ఆ పాలన్నీ తిరిగి నేలపై కక్కేసారు. "ఈ పాలు ఎంత మంది తాగుతారు? వాళ్ళంతా ఏమైపోయాలి?" అని చెబుతో ఆ పాలల్లో ఉన్న బల్లిని, తేలును చూపించారు శ్రీ స్వామి వారు. తమిళనాడు ముఖ్య మంత్రి అన్నాదురై గారు మరణించడంతో, ఆ ముందటి రోజు అంగళ్ళన్నీ మూసేసారు. ఆ రోజు పాలు అమ్మే వీలు లేక, ఆ పాలను ఫ్రిజ్లో పెట్టి ఈ రోజు అంగళ్ళకు పోసేందుకు తీసుకుపోతున్నారు. అనుకోకుండా ఆ పాలల్లో బల్లి, తేలు పడి చచ్చి ఉన్నందున ఆ పాలన్నీ చెడిపోయాయి. ఈ విషయం మిగతా ఎవరూ గుర్తించక పోయినా, సర్వజ్ఞులైన ఆ కరుణామయులు అంత మంది ప్రాణాలు కాపాడారు. మన ప్రార్ధనతో నిమిత్తము లేకుండానే భక్త రక్షణ చేసే కరుణామయులు శ్రీ స్వామి వారు.
God actually expects from us to offer Him our time and our mind. However, many people used to just visit Him offering neither time nor mind; rather they used to just offer Him apparent needs like Cigarettes, Tea etc.
A milk vendor used to ask Swami daily, whether he would like to have coffee, tea or milk! Swami used to reject his offers all the time! However, once, Swami asked him to bring to him the 25-liters can of milk that was tied to his bicycle. As soon as he brought it, Swami drank the entire milk. After that, Swami asked to also bring the another 6-liters can tied to his bicycle, and drank that milk too!!! The vendor left the place worrying how to manage now with this regular customers......
After he left that place, Swami vomited the entire milk that he had drunk. He showed a dead Lizard and a Scorpion in that milk and said, “How many people would have died if they had drunk this milk?”.
Here is what had actually happened: On the previous day, since the Tamilnadu Chief Minister Annadurai has died, all the shops were closed; Thus, there was no chance for the milk-vendor to sell the milk to tea-shops; so he kept the milk in fridge and was now going to sell it. Without his notice, a Lizard and a Scorpion fell into that the milk and died; the milk got poisoned. Whosoever drinks the milk, would have died! Though nobody was aware of that, omniscient Swami saved the lives of all those people. Swami is a personification of compassion saving the people without caring for whether they prayed to Him or not.
